Rn Clinical Learning&development Specialist

Sanford Health is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Clinical Learning & Development Specialist to support our mission of delivering innovative, compassionate care across our integrated Healthcare & Medical Services system. As a key member of the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will use your clinical expertise and passion for teaching to advance the knowledge, skills, and performance of nursing and interprofessional teams in our clinics, hospitals, and senior living facilities. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based clinical education that supports high-quality, safe patient care and aligns with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements. Drawing on adult learning principles, you will develop engaging curricula, simulation experiences, and e-learning content that address orientation, onboarding, annual competencies, new clinical initiatives, and ongoing professional development. You will collaborate closely with clinical leaders and frontline staff to identify learning needs using quality data, patient outcomes, and staff feedback, and then translate those needs into targeted, measurable learning interventions. The RN Clinical Learning & Development Specialist functions as both an educator and a clinical resource, providing bedside coaching, skills validation, and just-in-time training to support staff confidence and performance. You will play an active role in implementing new technologies, care standards, and practice changes, ensuring smooth adoption through structured education, communication, and change management strategies.
