*Research Associate (Legal Recruiting)* *Location:* Los Angeles (Century City/Westwood) *Position Type:* Full-Time *About the Role* We are a prestigious legal recruiting agency with offices in Los Angeles and New York, specializing in partner-level placements with Top 20 global law firms and elite legal professionals worldwide. Our clients span major U.S. markets, London, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful *Research Associate* to join our Research & Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates interested in gaining hands-on exposure to the legal industry and executive recruiting. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role requiring strong research capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Build, maintain, and update detailed databases of legal professionals, including partner-level attorneys, practice groups, and law firms * Conduct in-depth research on law firms, practice areas, attorney career histories, academic backgrounds, and market trends * Compile targeted candidate and firm lists based on client hiring needs * Assist in marketing candidates to relevant law firms and geographic markets under executive direction * Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all research and internal systems * Track and update candidate progress and engagement throughout the recruitment process * Support high-level research requests from leadership, including direct collaboration with the CEO * Analyze legal market trends, emerging firms, and growth opportunities to inform strategic decisions * Work cross-functionally with Research, Marketing, IT, and leadership teams *Qualifications* * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college * Minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher * Typing speed of 65+ WPM * Strong technical and computer skills; proficiency in data entry and database management preferred * Prior administrative or data entry experience is a plus * Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to take direction and feedback constructively * Demonstrated persistence, focus, and problem-solving ability * Interest in the legal industry strongly preferred * Ability to commit to the role for at least 2 years preferred *What We’re Looking For* * A driven, high-energy individual who thrives in a busy, transactional environment * Someone who is detail-obsessed and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work * A team player who is collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn * An individual who is proactive, intuitive, and able to anticipate needs *Compensation & Benefits* * Hourly compensation with overtime eligibility * Full-time schedule (40+ hours per week) * Bonus opportunities * Paid parking * Comprehensive benefits package *Why Join Us* * Work with top-tier global law firms and high-profile legal talent * Gain unparalleled exposure to the legal and executive recruiting industries * Learn directly from experienced leadership in a high-performance environment * Be part of a firm known for its influence and reach within the BigLaw community Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $30.
