Remote Backend Software Engineer

As a key player, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, affecting change and influencing the technical roadmaps of the organization. Join us in transforming data into actionable insights that elevate host and guest interactions. Accountabilities Work with cross-functional partners to design and deliver high-quality products. Define technical strategy and lead the architecture, build, and launch of solutions for serving review flows. Create best practices within the reviews, standards, and insights space. Influence and align stakeholders on technical direction, goals, and roadmaps. Build efficient and scalable backend solutions. Collaborate with team members to define product definitions and roadmaps. Drive technical strategy across multiple teams and systems. Requirements 7+ years of full-time work experience in software engineering or related domains. Proven experience in defining technical direction and owning architecture for complex systems. Ability to mentor and grow engineers, influencing technical decisions. Experience with service-oriented architecture. Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Ruby, Java, Kotlin) and knowledge of storage systems. Familiarity with reviews and metrics domain is a plus. Benefits Competitive base salary range: $196,000 - $227,000 USD. Bonus, equity, and benefits eligibility. Employee Travel Credits.
