Security Officer- Hilton Minneapolis

Hilton Minneapolis is searching for Security Officers to join their team! We're in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, directly connected by covered skyways to the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Minnesota Orchestra. Enterprise car rental, Nicollet Mall, and restaurants are within a few blocks. Target Field is a five-minute drive. Guests can enjoy our indoor pool and sauna, Starbucks coffee, UPS store, and all-day dining on-site.

Our property is over 800,000 sq ft and consists of 826 guest rooms and 44 meeting rooms.

As a Security Guard, you'll ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and visitors from around the world. Whether it's a sold-out conference, a winter festival weekend, or a busy summer travel season, you'll play a key role in delivering peace of mind with a calm, confident presence.

Shift Pattern: 2p-10p/10p-6a with flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Rate of pay: $20 per hour with a $2.00 differential for working overnight shift

What will I be doing?

• Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
• Promote safe work practices
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
