Registered Nurse Rn
Premiere Healthcare Staffing
Jay, Maine, US
About the Role
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing network of healthcare professionals serving hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. As part of a specialized healthcare staffing agency based in Cary, North Carolina, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while enjoying the flexibility and variety that comes with working across different settings and patient populations.
In this role, you will provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to patients in accordance with facility protocols and professional nursing standards. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, and communicate effectively with physicians and the broader care team. Your responsibilities will include administering medications and treatments safely and accurately, documenting all care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and ensuring that interventions are carried out in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, nurse leaders, therapists, case managers, and support staff—to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Education is a key aspect of this position; you will provide patients and their families with clear, compassionate explanations of diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to promote understanding, adherence, and safe transitions of care. You will actively participate in discharge planning and coordination, working with facility staff to connect patients to appropriate follow-up services and community resources.
Because Premiere Healthcare Staffing partners with a variety of hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, you must be comfortable adapting to new environments, workflows, and patient acuity levels. You will be expected to quickly learn unit routines, utilize facility-specific technology and EMR systems, and build effective working relationships with staff on each assignment. Throughout every placement, you will uphold stringent infection prevention and control practices and maintain awareness of all relevant regulatory standards, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements.
Premiere Healthcare Staffing emphasizes a service-oriented, collaborative culture grounded in integrity, responsiveness, and strong relationships with both healthcare professionals and client organizations. As an RN on our team, you will represent these values at the bedside, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to quality patient care. You will be supported by a responsive staffing team that works to match you with assignments that fit your skills, preferences, and career goals, offering opportunities to broaden your experience in different clinical specialties and care settings.
This position is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and who value both clinical excellence and meaningful relationships. You should be comfortable working independently within your scope of practice, while also contributing positively to team-based care. In return, Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for ongoing professional development, allowing you to grow your skills while making a direct impact on patients, families, and the healthcare organizations we serve.
