Overview: Position: Registered Nurse - RN ED Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: Emergency Department Shifts Available: Nights Pay: up to $1,491.84 - $2,067.48 gross per weekAssignment Length: 12 weeks

We place talented candidates with our partner healthcare facilities with the shared goal of providing exceptional, compassionate care.Paid WeeklyAward-winning hospital partners across the nationDedicated career specialists to support you every step of the wayImmediate and flexible opportunities to create your career journeyTailored career pathway where you can thrive personally and professionally Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department during night shift, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and interventions.Apply the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans.Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and telemetry; respond rapidly to changes.Communicate patient status, diagnostic results, and treatment plans with physicians and the care team.Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per orders and protocols.Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, discharge instructions, and follow-up.Supervise and coordinate LVNs/LPNs and nursing assistants as needed.Maintain accurate EMR documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.Ensure EMTALA compliance and report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.Participate in emergency response, trauma resuscitation, and critical care patient safety initiatives and evidence-based emergency nursing practices. Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required upon hire. 6. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting required.7. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below): 1. In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current. 2. EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.3. Non-OB facilities: NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.4.
