80% FTE, Monday – Friday with hours between 8:00am – 5pm, no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the Science Drive Medical Center and the American Family Childrens Hospital in Madison, WI.
We are seeking a
Registered Nurse (RN)
to:
Practice closely with the Pediatric Orthopedic team to help care for patients with fractures, spina bifida, club foot, spinal fusions, and more.
Provide evidence based, high quality nursing care for patients via telephone and MyChart.
Assist with care coordination and clinic procedures such as wound care, incision checks, pre-op appointments, pin pulls, etc..
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for consistent and positive patient outcomes.
Provide education and guidance to patients and families.
Utilize evidence and science to guide practice.

Qualifications
Graduate of school of nursing Required
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
6 months of RN experience Required
Relevant RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
Applicable clinical certification Preferred
