Registered Nurse Rn Nephrology

HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Nephrology to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our leading, patient-centered network. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease across inpatient and outpatient settings, including pre- and post-dialysis care, management of complex comorbidities, and education on treatment options such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and transplant preparation. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary care team, and closely monitor patients’ hemodynamic status, fluid balance, lab values, and medication responses. The RN Nephrology will safely administer medications, manage vascular access devices and dialysis catheters, adhere to strict infection prevention and safety protocols, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. You will coordinate care transitions, provide patient and family teaching on disease management, diet and fluid restrictions, medications, and home therapies, and serve as an advocate to ensure high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care.
