Position Overview

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse medical and post-surgical patient population. This role emphasizes teamwork, strong clinical judgment, and compassionate care in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment focused on professional growth and clinical excellence.

Unit Overview

This 28-bed Medical Unit supports a wide range of patient populations, including: Stroke and TIA Pancreatitis GI bleeds Wounds requiring debridement Detox and withdrawal Pneumonia Post-operative recovery The unit is known for its strong teamwork, collaborative culture, and hands-on learning environment.

Shift Details

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Self-scheduling Every 3rd weekend Rotating holidays Compensation & Incentives

Up to $30,000 sign-on bonus Tuition assistance: up to $10,000 over 4 years Night shift differentials Free parking Key Responsibilities

Deliver age-appropriate, individualized nursing care Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop/update plans of care Implement safe, evidence-based nursing interventions Evaluate patient responses and modify care as needed Provide thorough handoff communication using SBAR Perform technical nursing skills competently and independently Maintain professional conduct and contribute to a positive team culture Identify and report safety risks and follow established precautions Delegate tasks appropriately based on competency and scope of practice Utilize resources responsibly and ensure accurate documentation and charging Requirements

Active Nebraska RN license or valid compact multistate license Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred ICU consideration requires 2+ years of critical care experience Why This Opportunity
