Registered Nurse (rn)- Intensive Care Unit (icu) - Full Time

Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse for our General Medicine unit within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Registered Nurse in General Medicine, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse adult population with acute and chronic medical conditions, collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff. In this role, you will conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications and treatments safely, and continuously monitor patient status, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in condition. You will coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, provide education and emotional support to patients and families, and advocate for patient needs to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Working within Mission Health’s collaborative culture, you will actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, follow evidence-based protocols, and maintain accurate, timely electronic health records.
