About the Role
Avera Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in our regional health system based in Sioux Falls, SD. As an RN at Avera Health, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based care across a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and affiliated care facilities throughout the Upper Midwest. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments safely, monitoring patient status, and collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will advocate for patients and their families, provide education on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans, and support them in understanding and participating in their care. You will document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record, follow all regulatory and accreditation standards, and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. You will be expected to use strong clinical judgment, prioritize multiple patient needs, and respond effectively in urgent or emergent situations. Qualifications
- Licensed RN in SD
