Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Wound Care 1390 Hwy 61 S. Suite G1500 Festus, MO 63028 Hours/Schedule: Full-Time Days No Holidays, No Weekends Provides specialized care for patients with acute and chronic wounds in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment planning, application of advanced therapies, and patient education to promote healing and prevent complications. Qualifications: Education:
Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure:
Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Experience Preferred:
Wound Care experience preferred but not required. Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. -Wound Care certifications preferred but not required. Why Mercy?
