What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
  • Experience:One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required.
  • Additional skills required: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred):
    • NH MedicalRegistry-eligible in Radiography by ARRT
    • Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(required)
    • Required within 6 months of hire

What You'll Do:

What You’ll Do

• Ensure patient safety by verifying identity, reviewing clinical history, confirming consent, and following all safety and infection control protocols
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures while following established protocols and optimizing image quality and patient safety
• Prepare patients for exams, support their needs during procedures, and adapt care based on age and condition
• Accurately receive, document, and carry out provider orders using EMR, RIS, and PACS systems
• Administer contrast and perform venipuncture as needed, following physician direction
• Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and proper patient identification before submission
• Communicate clearly with patients and care teams, providing a respectful and supportive experience
• Maintain compliance with ARRT standards, state licensure, and organizational policies
• Apply ALARA principles and radiation safety standards in all procedures
• Support team collaboration, quality improvement, and ongoing learning within the department
