Position Details: Radiologic Technologist Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Edmond I-35 South
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
The person hired for this role may also cross-train to assist the Medical Assistants and Patient Service Representatives when needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. Experience:
no experience required. 6 months of experience preferred, particularly in a Primary Care setting. Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification/Registration:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible. Achieved ARRT registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
