Radiologic Technologist - Day/ft - $5k Sign on Bonus

The ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time (80 hr) Radiologic Technologist, rotating evening/midnight shifts. This position will work every 6th weekend and every third holiday.

Shift:

• 8a- 6:30p four days a week and 1 rotating comp day.

• Weekend Call (Every 6th Weekend) and (1-2 holidays per year as a 24hrs call shift)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment

• Developing and identifying radiographs

• Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties

• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro

• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students

• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems

• Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm

• Burn patient CD’s

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years’ experience as a staff technologist.

• Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.

• An Associate’s degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement
  required to be signed as a condition of employment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• ARRT registered

• Delaware State License ​

• Certification in CPR

This position pays a base pay between $32.77 and $45.06.

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
