About the Role
PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant
MLR is collaborating with a respected local health system to find a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, permanent role in Arkansas. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate PTA who is driven to help patients achieve their highest functional abilities through effective therapy within a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Therapeutic Support: Work closely with Physical Therapists to provide therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and patient instruction.
- Progress Monitoring: Observe and document patient progress, sharing updates with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
- Treatment Execution: Safely administer treatment plans as directed, with careful attention to patient comfort and safety.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise records of patient care, in line with state regulations and facility standards.
- Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to promote continued recovery at home.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide integrated, effective patient care and optimize patient outcomes.
PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Licensure: Current or eligible Arkansas state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Team-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
