Pta - Physical Therapist Assistant

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days - 36 hours guaranteed per week.

A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required for a 13-week assignment, providing essential support in the rehabilitation of patients. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their physical functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in an appropriate clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
