Product Owner I

Role Description As a Product Owner I, you will support the delivery of secure, reliable, and high‑performing collaboration and end‑user computing platforms that power how our teams work every day. In this entry‑level role, you partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to translate technical and operational needs into clear, actionable backlog items that drive value. Help refine user stories, maintain a ready backlog, and participate in agile ceremonies. Gain hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, Azure Virtual Desktop, and endpoint management tools such as Intune. Balance competing priorities across production support, maintenance, and enhancements, ensuring alignment to business objectives, user productivity, and platform stability. Operate with guidance while developing the ability to prioritize work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction, and/or alteration in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a related role. Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and collaboration platforms. General understanding of cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. Hybrid work schedule: minimum 3 days per week in St.Louis Corporate Office at 1832 Schuetz Rd, Saint Louis, MO. Employees must submit work‑from‑home requests and follow the Work From Home policy. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an Agile environment; familiarity with SAFe is a plus. Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), or Microsoft Intune. Experience supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, or user story development. Understanding of identity, access, and endpoint management concepts. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
