About the Role

Phoenix Indian Medical Center - Primary Care Opportunities available

DAX Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for an exciting locum tenens opportunity at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, no call responsibilities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by serving an underserved adult patient population within the Indian Health Service (IHS) system.

Position Highlights

  • 4 ten-hour shifts per week

  • No weekends required

  • No call responsibilities

  • Adults-only patient population

  • Average patient volume: 15-20 patients per day

  • Travel and lodging provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

  • Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine (FP) or Internal Medicine (IM)

  • Active and unrestricted medical license

  • DEA certification

  • BLS certification required
