Lateral entry rank and starting base salary depend on prior law enforcement experience. Documented satisfactory job performance is required to qualify for the incremental incentive payments of $3,000 after completion of 3 months of service; $3,000 after completion of 6 months of service; and $4,000 after completion of 12 months of service for a total of $10,000.
