Platform DevOps Engineer, Senior Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. As a site reliability engineer supporting container platforms on our team, you’ll work with the internal Booz Allen core team on the development of more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to leverage your expertise with Kubernetes environments in the cloud while assisting junior engineers and broadening your knowledge base. Work with us as we help mature our Kubernetes and containers service offerings for internal Booz Allen solutions. You Have: 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles Experience with production in Kubernetes, including clusters, workloads, networking, and troubleshooting Experience with two or more Kubernetes-based platforms, including AKS, EKS, or OpenShift Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS or Azure, and core services, including IAM, networking, logging, or compute Experience with scripting or automation, including Python, Bash, or Go, on Linux platforms Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as AI solutions or CloudFormation Experience with observability tools, such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana Knowledge of incident management, RCA, and reliability engineering principles Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT Nice If You Have: Experience with GitOps tools, such as Argo CD or Flux Experience with service mesh and ingress technologies, such as Istio, NGINX, or Traefik Experience with policy and security tooling, such as OPA Gatekeeper, Kyverno, Falco, Aqua, or Prisma Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments CKA, CKAD, AWS, Azure certs, or Red Hat OpenShift Certifications Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
