Key Responsibilities for the Plant Controller:
• Own plant month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial planning processes
• Analyze inventory, costing, labor, and manufacturing variances
• Partner closely with plant leadership to improve operational and financial performance
• Develop reporting and financial analysis to support plant decision-making
• Monitor plant KPIs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of plant financial data and controls
Qualifications for the Plant Controller:
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience with at least 2+ years of Plant Controller experience
• Strong background in food or CPG manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, costing, and manufacturing variance analysis
• Experience owning budgets, forecasts, and month-end close processes
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with comfort working heavily in data
• ERP experience required
• Strong communication and operational business partnering abilities
