. Specifics of The Role The ideal candidate is a compassionate and innovative physician driven to provide a multidisciplinary approach to palliative care in the cancer population. Palliative care is an integral part of our cancer care delivery model with involvement at all stages of a patient's cancer journey, when appropriate. Commitment to proactive management of symptoms and improvement of quality of life. Completion of a palliative care fellowship favored, but internal medicine or dual palliative oncology and medical oncology training would be considered. Call frequency
is 1:3 Academic-style practice in a community setting Health system utilizes

Serves the oncology needs for Parkview Health system with a catchment area population of over 1.3 million people. - Provide multidisciplinary palliative care to cancer patients
- Collaborate within a cancer-focused team and tumor boards
- Emphasize symptom management and quality of life improvement
Qualifications
- Board eligible/board certified in palliative care or internal medicine with palliative training
- Fellowship in palliative care preferred
