This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated physician educator to make a lasting impact by mentoring and training the next generation of internal medicine physicians. Position Highlights: Residency Teaching & Mentorship: Guide and supervise residents in the Continuity Clinic, helping shape their clinical skills and professional development Academic Leadership: Deliver engaging didactic lectures, participate in resident evaluations, and contribute to performance feedback and curriculum planning Faculty Development: Collaborate with academic leadership on faculty growth initiatives and program improvement Administrative Involvement: Take part in residency program operations, candidate interviews, and strategic planning Preference given to candidates with 2+ years of academic or clinical teaching experience Candidate Qualifications: Board Certified in Internal Medicine Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Mexico Passion for medical education, mentorship, and academic leadership Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with ACGME-accredited programs is a plus Set against the backdrop of the stunning Organ Mountains, Las Cruces is the second-largest city in New Mexico and offers a vibrant, affordable lifestyle ideal for professionals and families alike.
