The facility operates as a mid-sized hospital providing comprehensive gastroenterology services with two dedicated endoscopy suites. The hospital maintains onsite laboratory and x-ray capabilities to support procedural care and diagnostic services.

This area offers diverse attractions ranging from the grand Biltmore Estate and scenic North Carolina Arboretum to outdoor adventures like waterfall tours and visits to Linville Caverns. Visitors can explore cultural sites and enjoy entertainment venues, or relax at destinations throughout the region with opportunities for both indoor experiences and outdoor activities such as scenic tours through the backroads.

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology services Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, performing 10-14 scheduled procedures daily with an additional 2-4 add-on procedures. The clinician will conduct screening colonoscopies in two dedicated endoscopy suites with onsite laboratory and x-ray support. Board certification in gastroenterology is required for this position without call responsibilities.
