Were seeking a passionate and driven Contingent Physician Assistant to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan . Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Contingent (0.0 FTE)

  • Schedule: 25-hour or 8-hour shifts as needed

  • Location: Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan

  • Specialty: Neonatal Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training

  • Hospital Info: Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery

  • Call Requirements: No Call Required for APPs

Requirements

  • PA with neonatology fellowship training

  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment

  • Active Michigan medical license

  • DEA license

  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Participating in teaching and mentoring

  • Documenting in Epic EMR

  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives

  • Supporting community health efforts
