This busy hospital provides comprehensive surgical services with established anesthesia protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility operates with a supervision model allowing flexibility between supervising 3 rooms or working solo cases. The hospital maintains modern anesthesia capabilities to ensure effective case management across multiple surgical specialties.

This area features educational and cultural attractions including Syracuse University, multiple museums such as the Erie Canal Museum and Museum of Science & Technology, and entertainment venues like the Landmark Theatre and Armory Square. Visitors can explore the zoo, attend events at the New York State Fairgrounds and NBT Bank Stadium, or shop at Destiny USA. The region offers brewery tours and various parks for outdoor activities.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during varied shifts including 7a-5:30p, 7a-3p, and 12-hour day or night coverage with one night per week call from 5:30p-7a. The clinician will manage diverse surgical cases including thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, obstetric, regional, and epidural procedures. The position operates under a supervision model where the clinician will supervise 3 rooms or work solo with OB overnight coverage required. Board certification is mandatory for this role with credentialing completed in 2-4 weeks.
