Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Massachusetts physical therapy license required prior to start of assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required. Minimum experience providing outpatient or home health physical therapy services preferred. Candidates with prior home health experience are strongly preferred. Experience evaluating adults and pediatrics, developing measurable treatment goals, and documenting functional outcomes. Demonstrated competence with common physical therapy modalities, therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance and functional mobility interventions. Ability to perform diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability testing and to modify treatment plans based on patient progress. Effective communication skills for coordinating care with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and family members. Comfort providing patient and family education and supervising/mentoring PTAs, aides, or students. Clinical specialist certification is preferred but not required for general PT roles.

Facility Type: Home Health Duration: 13 Week assignment Standard Hours Per Week: 40 Shift Name: Other Must be able to travel within the service area and provide care in patient homes.
