Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Iowa Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans.
• Demonstrated competency in documentation, goal writing, and use of electronic medical record systems for timely, accurate charting.
• Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and manage caseloads with delegation to discipline-specific therapy staff as needed.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education per Iowa practice act.
• Effective patient and family education skills and experience participating in student clinical education preferred.

• Facility Type: Outpatient.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern.
• Position: Outpatient Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, documentation, charge entry, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
