Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required from AHA or ARC. Prefer 1 year of relevant clinical experience; first-time travelers will be considered. Experience with outpatient hospital-affiliated clinics and treating orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related diagnoses preferred. Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred. Comfort using department equipment such as BITS, Solo Step, Force Decks, Cybex equipment helpful.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Hospital (hospital-affiliated outpatient rehabilitation clinic). Duration: 13-week travel assignment. Standard Hours Per Week: 40 hours. Shift Pattern: 5x8 or 4x10 schedule options; clinic will determine consistent day off. Patient Volume: Approximately 10–15 patients per day; evaluations 30–60 minutes with 30-minute treatment slots common. Orientation: New employee orientation plus 5 days departmental orientation. Weekend Rotation: None. On Call: None. Holiday Expectations: None. Parking: Free on-site parking. Uniform: Polos provided (teal and black); slacks and clean shoes preferred.
