Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Demonstrated competency in comprehensive evaluations, treatment plan development, and interdisciplinary discharge planning preferred. Documentation experience with hospital medical records, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and discharge documentation preferred. Ability to participate in student supervision and professional development activities preferred.
