Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active State Physical Therapy License or compact license eligible (Ohio participates in the PT Compact). Active licensure is required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in inpatient rehabilitation (IPR/IRF) preferred. IPR experience is a plus. Clinical experience in an inpatient setting required for new graduates; resume must demonstrate relevant clinical rotations or experience. Experience treating medically complex diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, SCI, Parkinson's disease, MS, hip fracture, or post-COVID rehabilitation preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital (36-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting) Shift Name: Days Preferred discipline: Physical Therapist; Occupational Therapist candidates considered if start date is earlier.
Location Highlights Lancaster, OH sits near the Hocking River and is about 30 miles southeast of Columbus. Lancaster offers access to Hocking Hills State Park (approximately 25–35 miles), local historical sites such as the Fairfield County Heritage area, and outdoor recreation along the Hocking River within a short drive. The area provides a suburban to small-city lifestyle with a commute of about 30–40 minutes to downtown Columbus, regional dining and entertainment options, and proximity to state parks for hiking, rock formations, and seasonal outdoor activities.
