Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. New graduates are considered; new grad rate referenced in client notes is preferred information only. Experience performing 60 minute evaluations and treatment sessions preferred. Documentation skills including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies required. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants or students and participate in student education preferred. Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Florida Practice Act.
