Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA. Active Maryland Physical Therapy license or compact privileges as required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including evaluations and 60-minute evaluations. Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, goal writing, documentation, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies. Familiarity with student supervision and participation in clinical education preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and materials handling policies preferred.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Duration: 13 week assignment. Patient Evaluation: 60-minute initial evaluations expected. Clinical Responsibilities: Evaluate assigned patients, develop and modify treatment plans, document per clinic and payer requirements, and provide discipline-specific direction to support patient progress and discharge planning.
