Our Physical therapist work as a team with physical therapy assistants to treat people of all ages and abilities. In this position with Presbyterian’s Outpatient rehabilitation department gives clinicians the opportunity to treat a variety of patients and the ability to work with a group of therapist that have a range in specialties. The Outpatient rehabilitation team is collaborative and patient-focused . We place a strong emphasis on providing orientation and mentorship in order to ensure the well-being and success of our new team members. Evaluates patients, develops plans and goals, and implements treatment programs for improvement of physical or developmental dysfunction and independence in activities of daily living. Communicates with patient, family, physician, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
