Physical Therapist

Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our hospital-based department. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients across a variety of clinical settings, helping them restore function, improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes. In this role, you will work with a diverse caseload that may include orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex patients. Responsibilities include conducting detailed physical therapy assessments, setting measurable functional goals, delivering therapeutic exercise and manual therapy interventions, providing gait and balance training, and utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities in accordance with current standards of practice and regulatory requirements. You will document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record, participate in discharge planning, and provide thorough patient and family education on home exercise programs, safety, and long-term self-management strategies.
