Physical Therapist Assistant

Point Quest Group Los Angeles, California, US

About the Role

Point Quest Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting individuals through personalized physical therapy interventions within our broader educational and behavioral service model. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on treatment that promotes mobility, functional independence, and quality of life for a diverse client population, including children and adults who may receive services in clinical, school-based, or community settings. As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Point Quest Group, you will implement individualized treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility activities, and use of adaptive equipment. You will closely observe and measure patient performance, document progress, and promptly communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist. You will help maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, preparing equipment and ensuring that all interventions are carried out in alignment with professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will serve as an important link between patients, families, caregivers, educators, and the therapy team, providing clear instruction on home exercise programs and practical strategies that support each individual’s goals. Because Point Quest Group specializes in Special Education and Healthcare services, you may support students and clients with a wide range of physical, developmental, and behavioral needs. You will collaborate regularly with physical therapists, special education professionals, behavior analysts, nurses, and other team members to integrate therapy strategies into educational and behavioral support plans, fostering growth, independence, and meaningful participation in daily activities. Our culture is supportive and inclusive, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. You will be encouraged to participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities that strengthen your clinical judgment, technical skills, and understanding of best practices in pediatric, school-based, and rehabilitative care. Accurate, timely documentation using electronic health records, adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards, and commitment to evidence-informed practice are essential components of this position. Working at Point Quest Group offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families, while developing your career within a mission-driven organization. If you are a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who values teamwork, diversity, and continuous learning, and you are motivated by helping others achieve greater independence and improved outcomes, we invite you to join our dynamic Healthcare & Medical Services department and contribute to our vision of providing tailored, high-quality support services.
