HCA Healthcare - - Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of registered pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician has the primary responsibility in the areas of medication receiving, preparing, compounding, dispensing and delivery.; Generates labels, fills medications according to physicians orders and delivers them to the Nursing Units as per departmental schedule.; Maintains floor stock for approved medications and pharmaceutical supplies on all patient care units; Ensures that pharmacy charges are entered into the pharmacy computer system on a daily basis; Monitors the accurate documentation of Controlled Substances administered in these areas.
