What you will do:
Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
Must haves:
This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
May need to possess current CPR
Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
Speak read and understand English fluently.
Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
