Pediatric Critical Care (prn) Physician Opportunity In Illinois

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Intensivist  to join our established Pediatric ICU program in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• PRN position

• Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III perinatal services

• Full-time Pediatric Sedation Service in place (sedations for special procedures, minor procedures, and radiology procedures); Pediatric Anesthesia covers all of the sedations and Pediatric ICU physicians do sedations that are ASA III

• New, state-of-the-art PICU with up to 10 PICU beds

• Established Pediatric Hospitalist and Pediatric ICU services

• Pediatrics unit features 18 private rooms, 8 isolation and protective environment beds, fully equipped minor procedure room, family lounge, private child life area, and a teen recreation room

• Strong referral base

• Large network of Pediatric subspecialties

• Ancillary staff includes pastoral services, child life specialists, and social services

• Opportunity for academics and/or research with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $1,945 - $2,945/shift. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
