Medicus is proud to partner with a reputable hospital in upstate New York that has an exclusive opening for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to assist their team.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
1 offsite weeknight call per week (~5p-7a), 1 24-hour offsite weekend call per week
Annual Volume: 11-12k cases (includes ambulatory surgery center volumes)
Patient Population: Neonates & older
Cases: General, ENT, ortho, uro, plastics, neurosurgery, pulmonary, ophthalmology, dental/oral surgery - no cardiac
5 pediatric ORs, cath lab, 2 MRI, GI, CT scan, IR, and 2 ophthalmology
1:2 supervision of residents or CRNAs
EMR: Epic
Board-certification & fellowship required
Paid travel & lodging
Long-term assignment
During your time off, visit a hands-on science museum, explore public markets and food halls, and take a short trip to nearby lakeshore beaches.

- Supervise residents or CRNAs in 1:2 ratio
- Manage perioperative care across multiple pediatric surgical subspecialties
Qualifications
- Board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist
- Fellowship in pediatric anesthesia
- License in New York or eligible for licensure
