Key Responsibilities
• Process weekly payroll for multiple entities with a high level of accuracy
• Collect, review, and verify timecards across multiple systems for completeness and FLSA compliance
• Code and report hours for certified payroll and accounting purposes
• Calculate wages, including union rates, certified payroll, bonuses, and benefits
• Review attendance, leave, and pay adjustments; reconcile discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues in partnership with the Payroll Manager
• Partner with HR on new hires, terminations, direct deposit updates, and tax elections
• Support payroll reporting and ensure accuracy across systems
Qualifications
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience (required)
• Experience in construction, union payroll, or certified payroll environments preferred
• Familiarity with certified payroll reporting and LCPtracker a plus
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar payroll systems preferred
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and basic payroll tax principles
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
