About the Role
Corewell Health - 100 Michigan Street Northeast - Responsibilities: Prepares patient for transport and performs passive and active identification to ensure all patients are properly identified before transporting; Transports all patients and equipment to and from testing and procedure areas including inpatient, outpatient, emergency and high risk Intensive Care Unit (ICU); Effectively communicates with medical employees to ensure all required medical supplies and medications are appropriately transported with the patient including the administering of oxygen when required; Responsible for the timely discharge of patients throughout the hospital; Under the direction of medical employees and/or Registered Nurse (RN), assists in providing support in toileting ambulatory patients

- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to lift and move patients
