UPMC - 1622 Locust Street - Responsibilities: Help patients navigate the healthcare system by providing clear instructions.; Schedule or connect patient to resources to schedule for ancillary services at checkout.; Verify/confirm insurance benefits with the carrier and collect copayments at point of service.; Register patients in Biometrics program and explain benefits; promote MyUPMC portal.; Appropriately distribute/triage phone calls to other areas and clinical providers.
