About the Role

Penn Medicine - - Responsibilities: Answer phones and interact with patients, staff, clinicians and visitors in a timely and pleasant manner; Verify eligibility and benefits and obtain authorizations/pre-certifications, and referrals when applicable; Post payments, generate receipts, perform daily cash reconciliation and adhere to daily deposit cashiering standards; Assume the role of scheduler as needed and ensure accuracy when scheduling patients' initial evaluation; Scan necessary documentation into the Patient Record in the EHR

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare administration or medical office preferred
