About the Role
UMass Memorial Health - - Responsibilities: Escorts ambulatory patients and transports by wheelchair, stretcher or bed; Assists nursing staff and/or lift tech in moving and positioning of patients using various lift devices; Delivers stretchers, beds, cribs and wheelchairs as needed; assists in deep-cleaning of transport equipment and sanitizes vehicles; Transports patient specimens and materials to and from labs and related locations per infection control guidelines; Maintains dispatch system TDSS records and transporter trip logs; provides handoff communication upon delivery to receiving unit
