About the Role
ThedaCare - - Responsibilities: Performs pre-registration of patient accounts prior to patient visits including inbound and outbound calling to obtain demographic, insurance, and other patient information; Collects patient demographic, insurance, and other information including patient financial liabilities and collecting point-of-service collections; Reviews eligibility responses in insurance verification system and appropriately selects the applicable insurance plan code; Operates the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls as applicable; Explains general consent for treatment forms to the patient/guarantor/legal guardian, and obtains necessary signatures
