About the Role Life Flight Network (LFN), a not-for-profit air medical transport service, has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join its in-house Legal and Compliance Department. This is a hybrid position located at LFN's headquarters in Aurora, Oregon . In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting LFN's mission to save lives with industry leading care and transport. Under the direction of the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, the Paralegal is responsible for supporting the Legal and Compliance team with various departmental activities, including: legal research and documentation, contract management, litigation management, and general administrative support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Legal Research and Documentation - Conduct legal research and assist with drafting legal documents for review by attorneys • Document Management - Organize and maintain legal compliance files and corporate records • Contract Management and Transactional Support - Assist contract management specialist and business teams with drafting, formatting, executing and retaining contracts and ancillary documents • Litigation Support - Assist with management of administrative aspects of litigation, including working closely with outside counsel and company employees to implement legal hold notices, collect, preserve and compile documents for discovery responses, manage case files and update litigation trackers • Regulatory Support - Draft and maintain a compliance documentation, including regulatory filings, and agency correspondence • Administrative Support - Provide general administrative support to the Legal & Compliance team, including calendaring, file management, and workflow coordination • Other Duties - Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Qualifications • Paralegal certification or associate degree in paralegal studies, required. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is a plus. • Proven experience working as a paralegal, with strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures.
