About the Role
Trinity Health of New England Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our well established and respected practice at the Orthopedic Care Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an expanding orthopedic practice that sees a high volume of surgical referrals from the extensive network of Trinity Health of New England primary care partners practicing throughout western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. The Total Joint Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with joint-related issues, primarily focusing on hip and knee replacements. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with state-of-the-art facilities.
Opportunity Details
Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasties of the hip and knee
Provide preoperative and postoperative care for joint replacement patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, physician assistants, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
Utilize the latest surgical techniques and technologies to improve patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as desired
Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and rehabilitation plans
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with practice standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty.
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in MA and CT.
Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
