About the Role

Oral Surgeon - Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center - Central Michigan (Rotational) Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center (GMOS) is Michigan's premier multi-site oral surgery group: 6 locations, 8 surgeons, and a dominant referral position across central Michigan. Backed by institutional investment and actively expanding into northern Michigan, GMOS is adding a surgeon to meet excess patient demand across its growing footprint. This is an opportunity to join the premier OMS platform in the state, with no production cap, a clear path to leadership, and a staff and culture built to make the surgeon's life easy. Schedule 4-5 days per week
Surgical procedures scheduled in the morning
Consults scheduled in the afternoon
Rotational, multi-site model across central Michigan
Open scheduling model
Pay & Compensation $600,000 - $1,000,000+ annual earning potential
35% of collections (draw structure)
Current GMOS surgeons average $3M+ in annual production with no production cap
Sign-on bonus, relocation, or partnership opportunities available (candidate specific)

Practice covers supplies, lab, and anesthesia costs
Duties & Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans
Perform surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, and removal of pathology
Administer local and general anesthesia as needed
Collaborate with general dentists, orthodontists, and other specialists
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Prescribe medications for post-operative care and pain management
Treat infections and conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions
Provide emergency treatment for orofacial injuries
Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and long-term care
Requirements DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program
Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Michigan
Strong clinical and surgical skills
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
